About Frank

As a child growing up in Queens, Frank was indoctrinated with classic rock on Q104.3, oldies on 101.1, and light hits on 106.7 while being driven to and from alto saxophone and baseball practice (and school). On his own time, he was listening to NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Destiny’s Child, Queen, The Who, Led Zeppelin, and NOW That’s What I Call Music CDs. Music has always played a large role in his life, and his taste has continued to fluctuate and include more genres as he has grown older.

In college, Frank yearned for the aux cord so much that he created his own radio show, the GBC Live Lounge. Modeled loosely off the BBC Live Lounge, each show featured at least two to three covers and live versions of a wide spectrum of songs.

He went on to work for a boutique advertising production company in the West Village, where he was tasked with selecting music for commercials for big-name clients such as Mercedes and Verizon. He now works in television and hosts a weekly music radio show on KPISS.FM, called Manhattan Omnivore.

Frank started this website to continue his passion for both writing and music. He likes to be the one to show his friends new music, and that is one of the main goals of ARIGOmusic.com.
