2/16/17: Kingdom - Charli XCX feat. Simon Le Bon

ARIGO MUSIC'S DAILY SONG SUGGESTION

Who needs Spotify, Apple Music, or Pandora? Well we all do, but here's OUR song suggestion of the day:

KINGDOM - CHARLI XCX FEAT. SIMON LE BON

At the young age of 20, Charli XCX got her big break in 2012 with "I Love It," the smash hit made famous by Icona Pop that she wrote and was featured on. She then was featured on "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea, which she also helped write. She has gone onto a successful solo career, releasing songs like "Boom Clap," "Break the Rules," and most recently, "After the Afterparty." Her writing chops, features, and solo work have led her to be a part of some of the catchiest, biggest hits of the 2010s. For today's Song of the Day, "Kingdom," Charli slows things down a bit and shows off her beautiful voice for the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 soundtrack, which another young talent by the name of Lorde curated. (So Charli is Lorde endorsed if you needed any other affirmation of her talent.)
